Who We Are

ViveLA is a company that was created in 2010 with the vision of promoting a cultural exchange between students and professionals. The company was created by three Colombians, two of them who are living abroad in the United States and the third who currently lives in Bogotá, Colombia.

We have had the opportunity to interact with students interested in acquiring more understanding of the international world. We believe that Latin America has a great future and want to exploit all the opportunities that the continent can offer. This company was founded with the vision of interchanging cultural ideas, understandings and experiences.

International Internship Experience
(IIE) Program

International Internship Experience Program provides students with an incredible opportunity to not only see the world through new perspectives but also immerse themselves in new environments and cultures. This unique experience is an investment that enriches a student's resume and provides international exposure to a student's career path. Our internship program offers participants, the capability of enjoying themselves while at the same time experiencing cross-cultural interactions.

Nowadays employers are seeking employees with international experience. Whether the students are planning on helping the world in the non-profit sector or planning to engage in the private sector, this experience will enhance the student's career-goals. The student's resumes will definitely stand out from the rest!

Here at ViveLA we focus on making a personalized internship placement. While some companies will place the participants in prearranged internships, we take the extra effort to merge the student's academic background and career goals. This customized approach ensures you that the placement will directly enhance the participant's future. Please be advised that the internship placement will be matched depending on the student's background, academics, and experience.

Teach English Abroad (TEA)
Program

Teach English Abroad Program provides students with an incredible opportunity to teach English both in urban and rural communities. You could find yourself growing professionally and you're Spanish improving as you work with your assigned community. For this program, you will not need to have previous experience as a teacher, but rather have the passion to teach others.

Anywhere you teach you will have the opportunity to participate in local customs, share your own lifestyle, have new experiences that will forever change your outlook on life, and expand your international work experience on your resume.

ViveLA will give you a classroom, supplies, and teaching plans for the duration of your program. The classrooms will have no more than 25 students.

Volunteer Abroad (VA) Program

Volunteer Abroad Program provides students with an amazing opportunity to help communities in different areas. Depending on which organization you are placed with, your volunteer time and work changes. This program is the perfect short-term international experience. It has been designed with the flexibility and individual attention in order to meet your interests and needs as well as those of the communities.

Information about Colombia

Foreign direct investment and capital inflows have more than quadrupled in the past decade, while its $283 billion economy is growing at two full points faster than the Latin American average. Colombia is a world leader in the production of coffee, textiles, and flowers. Moreover, the country has seen great improvements in terms of Human Rights and Security due to the people's passion towards the betterment of their country. The combination of such growth in addition to the spirit of the Colombian people will bring you to enjoy the so called "sabor latino."

Besides its colorful streets and the happiness of its people, Colombia has a very interesting geographic location that makes everyone fall in love with the country.
